The Bear Hugs Club is a non-religious, non-sectarian, non-profit organization which serves to benefit the Love Animal House Sanctuary in North Thailand, home for countless abandoned or formerly abused domestic, farm and wild animals over the years.

The Bear Hugs Club was founded by Teddy the Himalayan Black Bear in 1993. His friendly presence at the Love Animal Sanctuary in North Thailand attracted many members and supporters who served to help hundreds of animals in need over the years. Yearly membership of $100 feeds 75 animals for one day and includes monthly newletters.
